Have you ever been called a name other than the one you were given at birth? Perhaps it was a nickname your parents gave you, a code name you and your best friend created, or even one from your past you’d rather forget. Wherever the source, names mean something, and that is especially true when looking at the names of God.

In Isaiah 9:6, Jesus is given four names: Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, and the Prince of Peace. Each one describing a different aspect of His character—all of which we have access to when we live in His presence.
During this Christmas season, we’ll unpack these four names of Jesus and discover that He shall be called more than a name.
