Today Pastor Matt will continue our Director’s Chair series with a message about “Taking Direction from the World.” Last week we learned that similar to a movie, there is a director’s chair for our life, and only one person or thing can sit in that chair – only one master can control our life. We learned that we have to know who Jesus is if we want him to sit in that chair and reign over us.
This week we will learn how important it is not to let the world (or the ruler of the world, Satan) to sit in that chair. Through Paul’s letter to the church at Colossae (the book of Colossians in the Bible), we will learn how that is Satan’s biggest goal – to convince us that the things in this world should be more important than our relationship with Christ.
