When playing poker, the only information a player has is what’s in front of them. Their perspective is different than the others at the table. When it’s time to make a move, they must decide what move to make. Once convinced they’re holding a winning hand, they can play the hand they’re dealt with confidence.

The same is true with our spiritual lives. Our involvement in spiritual growth is a great gauge of our beliefs. When we know and are convinced of what Jesus has done for us, then it’s easier to go all in.

At ACC we like to think of those cards as our 5 Catalysts: Worship Regularly, Grow Personally, Connect Relationally, Serve Sacrificially, and Give Generously. When we’re engaged and making steps towards these, then we can go all in and come out a winner. The more confident we are in our individual faith, the more willing we’ll be to invest in eternity.
