Today Pastor Matt finishes up the “Adulting” series with a message on “Giving Generously.” This lesson, based on the book of Malachi, will show how giving God our “leftovers” is like offering a defiled sacrifice – a sacrifice that is not perfect and worthy of giving to God. This sacrifice could be your money (not tithing to God first and trusting that He will take care of the rest), your time (not spending time reading the Bible until you finish reading the news and Facebook), or even your prayers (not praying just to praise God, but waiting until you need to ask for something). Those are all leftovers, and God doesn’t need or want them. He wants our perfect sacrifice, given out of faith that He will care for us. Learn how to give generously.
