ACC Care Ministry exists to minister God’s grace to people who are homebound, in the hospital, and more. Please contact John Schaaf at [email protected].
We want prayer to be at the center of all we do because we want God to be at the center of all we do. Every Sunday you’ll find that our teams begin praying even before our Sunday services begin and continue during our services. Throughout the week we pray for one another and beyond in our LifeGroups. And we periodically have Growth Courses specifically on prayer. Consider this your invitation to pray with us, come for prayer, or request prayer.
We all find ourselves in seasons where we need extra assistance. If you find yourself in a place of need please reach out to us at [email protected].
Many women hide the secret of abortion deep in their hearts and they are suffering severe consequences. They carry a great burden of shame and failure, afraid to reveal their hidden pain, and by doing so are forced to endure the long-lasting effects in isolation. Surrendering the Secret will allow women to release this burden and find freedom through 'redemptive community' while experiencing hope and joy, as shame and failure are replaced with beauty. This an anonymous support group for women only; times and dates will be worked out individually with women as they sign up.
GriefShare is a support group that is a safe and welcoming place where people understand the difficult emotions of grief. Through this 13-week group, you’ll discover what to expect in the days ahead and what’s “normal” in grief. Since there are no neat, orderly stages of grief, you’ll learn helpful ways of coping with grief, in all its unpredictability, and gain solid support each step of the way. Most importantly, you will know that you are not alone in your journey.
Surviving the Holidays is for those are struggling with the loss of a loved one as we approach the Christmas season. This is a time that can be a struggle for anyone, but especially when missing a loved one. This 2-hour support group contains practical and encouraging information to help you throughout the holiday season. It includes practical strategies and exercises and a booklet that address issues you're facing this holiday season.

STEPHEN MINISTRY AT ACC
The Stephen Ministry at ACC seeks to provide one-to-one Christ-centered care to people in the congregation and the community experiencing life difficulties.
HOW DOES STEPHEN MINISTRY WORK?
A trained Stephen Minister is matched with a person experiencing a life crisis. The Stephen Minister then meets with the Care Receiver to listen, care, encourage, and provide emotional and spiritual support. Their Stephen Minister will walk with them and provide confidential Christian care during tough times.
WHO ARE STEPHEN MINISTERS?
Stephen Ministers are congregation members who have trained for 50 hours to offer high-quality, one-to-one Christian care to people going through tough times. Stephen Ministers come from all walks of life. Their commonality is a passion for bringing Christ’s love and care to people during a time of need.
WHO ARE THE CARE RECEIVERS?
Care receivers are people—congregation members and others in the community—who receive care from a Stephen Minister. These are people struggling through a difficult time in life—experiencing grief, divorce, job loss, chronic or terminal illness, or other life crises. The caring relationship lasts as long as the person is in need of care. The identity of those receiving care, and anything that is shared, remains confidential.
HOW DO I REQUEST A STEPHEN MINISTER?
We would count it a blessing to walk alongside you in this season of life. Please email us at [email protected] to be connected with a personal Stephen Minister.
