Welcome to Arundel Christian Church
More than anything else, our vision is to see people transformed and released by the love of Jesus.
Arundel Christian Church is a laid back and safe place to be who you are. At ACC, we realize that we're all imperfect and that, together, we can help each other as we explore who God is and how He relates to our daily lives. We have a rocking band, creative videos, and a relevant message in hopes of making Jesus more understandable.
On most Sundays, you'll see everything from Raven’s jerseys and jeans to "Sunday best". You see, we're real people doing our best to live an authentic faith, and we want you to be comfortable, too, as you explore yours. We exist to Love God, Love People, and Serve Our Community -- everything we do is built around this mission.
Love God.
We encourage people to seek God, spend time with Him and grow deeper in their discovery and understanding of Him. Our weekend services are the primary environment for this to happen.
Love People.
Here at ACC, we strive to create opportunities to express love, not only to God, but to others in our church and community. This happens through LifeGroups and serving alongside one-another.
Serve Our Community.
We provide the opportunity to discover your God-given gifts and use them in service inside the church in ministry and outside through Outreach to the homeless and the marginalized of our community.
Our Pastoral Staff
Mack Ferrer
Executive Pastor of OperationsVolunteers
Mack Ferrer
Executive Pastor of OperationsA former Air Force veteran, Pastor Mack serves as the Executive Pastor of Operations. In this role, he applies his unique talents to ensure that the church adheres to its vision in various operational areas, including Finance, HR, Administration, First Impressions & Next Steps, Facilities, and Local Missions Outreach. Mack’s dedication extends beyond operational tasks; he harbors a deep passion for reaching out to those who are either unchurched or seeking a deeper understanding of following Jesus. Drawing from his own experiences, including his military background and personal faith journey, he is particularly committed to supporting military veterans who are grappling with PTSD, TBI, and addiction, helping them find the necessary resources and support.
In 2007, Mack married Jessica, his best friend and most ardent supporter. Jessica plays a crucial role in his life, encouraging him to rely not just on his own strength, but to approach life and full-time ministry in partnership with Jesus and as a united family. Working alongside Jessica in full-time ministry brings Mack great joy, as they share a united vision and complementary strengths, enhancing their service and impact. The couple is blessed with three beautiful daughters, known for their creativity, adventurous spirit, commitment to service, and just the right amount of sass! They also have a beloved blonde Golden Retriever named Judy and a resilient three-legged cat, Merle. A fan of the Dallas Cowboys, Mack also enjoys coaching volleyball and is a frequent patron of Mission BBQ. Mack loves to spend time outdoors, engaging in activities like hiking and traveling, and he is interested in taking up hunting.
Michael Miller
Executive Pastor of Worship ArtsVolunteers
Michael Miller
Executive Pastor of Worship ArtsMike serves here at ACC as our Executive Pastor of Creative and Worship Arts. He oversees all things creative, including; Sunday services, media, marketing, worship, and all the teams that make these happen at ACC.
While he isn’t at the church, which isn’t often, you’ll most likely find him in the woods. He claims he’s hunting, but we all know he’s really just sleeping in a tree somewhere. While he’s not out missing shots at big bucks he’s spending time with his wife and daughter. In addition Mike always enjoys a good time camping, fishing or taking those Sunday naps after church. We all know those hit different.
Mike Montgomery
Student PastorVolunteers
Mike Montgomery
Student PastorPastor Mike’s heart is to teach the truths of God and partner alongside parents in the discipling of their teens so that they don’t only walk with God through their middle school and high school years, but rather, for a lifetime. He is often found with his nose buried in the Bible and theological books, worshiping, and leading others in worship.
Pastor Mike grew up in the greater Philadelphia area and is a die-hard Philly fan. He has been married to his lovely wife Emily since 2014 and they love to play games, go to amusement parks, and spend time with their dogs: Chloe and Leo. He also has a love of good food and will happily point you in the direction of the best spots!
“Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit.” (Galatians 5:24-25)
Matt Ousdahl
Lead PastorVolunteers
Matt Ousdahl
Lead PastorAs the Lead Pastor at ACC, Matt helps to cast vision for ACC and it’s various ministries. He loves to teach God’s Word to others, encouraging them in their faith journey. The most rewarding facet of his ministry? Being able to share Jesus with people and watch God change their lives for the better.
Even more than being a pastor, his favorite titles are “husband” and “father”. He married his wife, Melissa, in 2002, and he is adamant that she is the smartest and prettiest girl in any room. Together, they have three daughters: Michaela, Madelin and Molly.
Matt grew up in California, but moved to the East Coast in 1999. He enjoys being around people, especially family. Travel, In-N-Out Burger, Texas Hold’em, and improvisational comedy are among his top favorite things.
John Schaaf
Executive Pastor of Discipleship and CareVolunteers
John Schaaf
Executive Pastor of Discipleship and CareJohn is our Executive Pastor of Discipleship and Care at ACC and oversees some of the amazing ministries that take place here. This includes everything from our men’s ministry (BACON!), women’s ministry, growth courses, discipleship, care ministries, and our incredible LifeGroups. He’s a bit crazy for Jesus! If you’re not in a LifeGroup, John’s the guy to get you plugged in because everyone needs to be connected with community.
When asked about his favorite hobbies, John’s response is, “The best hobby is the next hobby.” Some past activities include scaling large chunks of stone, running from insects, collecting copious amounts of books and tools, and sitting in the hot sun for hours watching a white ball (aka rock climbing, bee keeping, buying/reading books, woodworking/fixing things he broke, and baseball games). And if he can get either his wife or three kids to join in, all the better!
