Here at ACC we believe every Christian should have access to training in apologetics. We should all know the evidence behind our faith and be able to explain why we believe what we do. Although anyone is welcome to attend, this course it not meant for the beginner. As a prerequisite, we recommend that you have already taken our Discipleship 101 class or an equivalent. If you think you can justifiably skip these prerequisites, please schedule a meeting with the instructor prior to the beginning of the class. These classes are meant to be settings for both learning and questioning, but not for training you how to argue with people about Christianity. At ACC we realize that argumentation is not a successful approach for bringing people to Christ. The purpose of this class is to learn to explain and defend the Gospel and to share our faith in love rather than to weaponize the Gospel. This certificate is arranged in three sections: Section One is ten weeks, Section Two is nine weeks, and Section 3 is eight weeks. You do not need to take the sections in a particular order. Each section will include weekly classes consisting of videos and discussion along with addition projects and reading to help you learn to explain and share your faith. Registration cost is $20.
