This twice-yearly weekend is designed as a workshop to teach you Bible study methods. It’s a hands-on learning experience to take you beyond devotional reading of Scripture to learn how to study it deeply and draw your own conclusions about the meaning of the text. Though a lot of information can be derived from just reading and meditating on the Bible, there are far deeper treasures to be harvested if we learn some important study techniques. This weekend workshop is designed to equip you with tools to more deeply understand the Bible and its message. The best interpretation of Scripture comes from delving into the words, themes, characters, and context of any particular text. The weekend will guide you through multiple different approaches to these strategies. The class will include a workbook, internet resources as well as information about how to use additional Biblical study resources. This will be an amazing faith-growing experience, but due to the hands on and personal approach to teaching we only have 25 spots available, so register today! Due to the study-based nature of this trip researching online will be an important part of our learning. Please bring an iPad, computer or tablet so you can use online resources. The weekend sessions will be Friday evening at 6:30-9pm, and Saturday 9am-5 pm at ACC Cost is $35 which will cover lunch, snacks and materials. Registration is non-refundable. Questions?
