ACC’s Home Education ministry exists to support parental leadership in the discipleship and education of children through God-honoring and Biblically-sound home education. Through curriculum reviews, a homeschool co-op, and other events and resources, the ministry seeks to support current and future homeschool families in their education goals.
Homeschool Umbrella
Would you like ACC to handle your mandated homeschool reviews?
1) Complete our online application/registration form.
Unless you are an active Partner at ACC, there is an $80 annual fee that is due for each participating family, regardless of how many children are homeschooled. For those who are actively involved in Partnership at ACC, please reach out to ACC’s Home Education Ministry Coordinator for a code you can use to waive this fee.
2) Complete a 15-30 minute interview with our coordinator over the phone.
Upon completion of your application, you will be sent a link to select a phone interview time slot with ACC’s Home Ministry Education Coordinator. Please allow 15-30 minutes for this conversation. This time will be used to ask a few questions and to review our policies and procedures. Additionally, if you have any questions that are unanswered here, feel free to ask them at this time.
3) Upon acceptance, schedule your initial in-person review.
Use our review scheduling link to schedule your initial review (and subsequent reviews when ready). Please complete our online Review Form for each child before attending this meeting.
4) As the school year progresses, complete a mid-year and final review.
Bi-Weekly Co-Op
Homeschooling can be an incredibly thankless job, right?! Sacrifice after sacrifice, day after day… how great would it be if there was a homeschooling co-op that was created with the MOM in mind, instead of the student?
That’s what’s different about Arundel Christian Church’s Homeschool Co-op.
Our program has been designed with homeschooling moms as our top priority! Sure, our program is going to be an incredible experience for your children as well, but our main focus is to ensure that homeschooling moms have an opportunity to connect, encourage, and inspire each other through Biblical fellowship and prayer.

What to Expect (ALL):
We welcome families to begin arriving at 1:15pm so we can be settled and ready to start our classes promptly at 1:30pm. After 3:10pm, families are asked to promptly exit the building so the cafe and classrooms can be re-set and ready for evening LifeGroups. Families are welcome to linger and gather outside to extend fellowship.
What to Expect (MOMS):
Our moms have a special kid-free time at our meetings. While the kids are having fun and learning in a safe environment, our co-op’s desire is to truly pour into the moms. Moms, please come ready to connect with other homeschooling moms for a time of encouragement and growth. We meet in the cafe where we eat snack, learn together, pray together, and encourage one another. Though we try very hard to ensure that participating moms won’t be required to assist in classroom activities with kids, moms may occasionally be needed to fill-in.
What to Expect (KIDS):
For younger children, we provide Nursery and Preschool childcare. Our elementary-ages are split into two groups, K-2nd and 3rd-5th. These groups enjoy a planned 45-minute craft time and supervised game time (indoors or outdoors depending on the weather). All middle school and high school students will learn a different life-skill each week with experts from our community. This season, they can expect to learn watercolor, photography, financial planning/budgeting, beekeeping, and calligraphy!
